Enrollment and Registration Now Available!
Online Blended Learning Courses are now available through
your Genesee-Lapeer Chapter. Register and enroll for these
classes through our new online catalog. Participate in the
distant learning segment of the class in the comfort of your
own home, learning at your own pace. Then attend the
instructor-led skill session at the chapter classroom and
obtain your certificate.
You can also use the online catalog 24-hours a day to
enroll in a variety of classes offered to the community in
CPR, First Aid, Lifeguarding, Babysitting or Pet First Aid.
Your credit card is processed by a secure server and you
receive an instant confirmation of your class enrollment.
Or you can browse the catalog and continue to call the
chapter office and enroll over the telephone (or stop by to
enroll in person).
A joint effort between the American Red
Cross and the Salvation Army has made 2008 the seventh year that
the Proud To Be American License Plate has been available.
This attractive plate is more than just a symbol of ones pride
and commitment to the values of America, but a contribution to
help fund many of the programs administered by the American
Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
Over the past 6 years, 81 of Michigan's 83
counties have directly benefited from these funds in the form
of education and direct disaster relief. The Michigan Red
Cross has trained over 6,100 volunteers and has responded to
16,842 local single-family disasters such as house fires,
tornados, and floods. These funds help us provide the families
with the necessities to meet their immediate needs by
supplying them with food, clothing, shelter, and replacement
medications to help them maintain their dignity and begin the
recovery process.
On your birthday this year
when visiting the Michigan
Secretary of State, please consider purchasing a Proud
To Be American License Plate as a replacement for the plate
you currently have. For a nominal
cost of just $35 you can proudly show your support for
America, the Salvation Army, and the American Red Cross.

You
can. Learn Pet First Aid from the American Red
Cross. Courses are offered in Lapeer County and through
local community education programs throughout
Genesee
County.
